These terms and conditions are effective as of June, 2023.

By accessing or using the goods and services provided within this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are not in agreeance of any part of the terms and conditions, we advise you to not engage with the services until further discussed with Ayurmātā.

Purchases & Bookings
If you wish to purchase any goods from the shop, or book a service made available through the booking link, you may be asked to supply specific personal details relevant to your booking/purchase in order to secure your good or service, including but not limited to your full name, email address, phone number, mailing address and credit card details.

Content
All content provided on this website, and through 1:1 services including but not limited to initial consultations and follow up consultations, is intended for your personal use only, and is for educational purposes only. It is not intended to officially diagnose or cure any disease or ailment. I am not a medical doctor, and practice within the limits of an Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda and specific further learning opportunities and trainings.

There may be some links within this website to third party websites or hosts. Ayurmātā holds no responsibilities for the content, privacy policy and offerings of these third party websites and their services. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also agree that Ayurmātā is not responsible for, and will not be made accountable for, any damage, loss or theft caused by these third party websites.

Changes
Ayurmātā reserves the right to make any changes to the goods and services offered through this website and this website only. If a revision or change is to come about, we endeavour to provide the client with 30 days notice before said changes will come in to effect. What constitutes a change will be made at our discretion.

Health & Safety
All practitioners at Ayurmātā are qualified in their field, hold current first aid certificates, and have personal and public liability insurance for the goods and services they provide.
Due to the nature of body work and other services provided within the realms of Ayurvedic practices, any and all practitioners will maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
If the practitioner is unwell in any way, shape or form, that prevents them from maintaining high standards of personal hygiene, please know that they will not be permitted to work, which means your individual booking may be rescheduled if there is not another practitioner available. Ayurmātā will contact you to make you aware of the earliest possible appointment to reschedule your booking if this is necessary.
Clients are asked not to attend any bodywork treatments or initial consultations if they are ill in any way shape or form, out of respect for our practitioners and the desire to minimise cross contamination. Please contact Ayurmātā on 0401 428 909 if you need to make changes to your booking because of this. If you are unwell and contact us to inform us of your illness, please note that our cancellation policy (below) may still apply, and the practitioner of Ayurmātā reserves the right to judge this case to their own discretion.
Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent / guardian, and said parent / guardian will need to give permission for any and all services to be engaged with, and they will be required to sign any forms connected to the service, and will be expected to remain present (in room or in waiting room) for the duration of the booking.
Ayurmātā reserves the right to refuse any service should the client display signs of physical or emotional abuse, or demonstrates aggressive, sexual or inappropriate behaviour towards the practitioner.

Disclaimer
Ayurmātā provide advice and body work therapies in alliance with the philosophies of Ayurveda, which may include but is not limited to, the use of regulated herbal medicines in all forms. None of the services provided by Ayurmātā are regulated by a medical board, nor do they serves as professional medical advice or care. We do not diagnose or claim to cure any illnesses, but instead provide services under the banner of complimentary and alternative health.
Should Ayurmātā believe the individual client requires professional medical care from a GP or allopathic doctor, a referral will be provided to the client, to take to an appropriate practitioner or specialist, but it is up to the individual client to pursue that referral.
The client holds all responsibility in what information they provide Ayurmātā, and any information that is left out cannot be used against Ayurmātā. For this reason, detailed records of the information will be recorded by the practitioner of Ayurmātā, and should something remain unclear to the practitioner, it is their responsibility to follow it up if need be. However, it is still not the responsibility of the practitioner to actively seek information outside of the consult.
The client has a duty to keep Ayurmātā up to date with information of any ailments, illnesses, medications, supplements etc that is as accurate and detailed as possible for the proper recording and storage of information.
The practitioners of Ayurmātā reserve the right to refuse to treat any client or specific body part as they see fit, which includes terminating a treatment or consultation if it is deemed to have created an unsafe environment, or is not within the parameters of the clients best interest, with just and reasonable cause. At the same time, the client reserves the right to refuse, change or terminate any treatment or booking at any time during the allocated time slot, regardless of prior consent given.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is effective as of June, 2023.

Ayurmātā is using this page to inform you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of the website.
We use your personal information only for providing a copy to store on file for 7 years in order to better analyse and advise on your conditions of health. By using this site, you agree to the collection, use and storage of your personal information in accordance with the below privacy policy.

Collection & Use of Information
While using our site, and when received 1:1 consultation work, we maybe ask you to provide some personal information that may be used to identify or contact you. Personal information may include, but is not limited to, your name, contact details, mailing address, age/birthday and any information relevant to providing Ayurmātā with an opportunity to optimally treat and provide services to you. Outside of the ‘required’ information, what details you tell us within a 1:1 meeting is entirely at your discretion, and will be used on the treatment of your case. This information will also be stored for up to 7 years.

Communications
We may use your personal information to contact you with newsletters, marketing materials, updated information and more. Where applicable, you will always have the option to opt out of these.

Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data used to identify you when you visit a website for the first time, and so they may include a unique identifier such as your IP address, recent searches you’ve made etc.
Like most websites, we use cookies to collect information. You can instruct your web browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie has come in to play / is being used. If you do not ‘accept all’ cookies, there may be limitations to what parts of the website you can access.

Ayurmātā values the security of your personal collected information, and endeavours to keep it confidential where possible. However, we do not assume responsibility for any transmission over the internet, as no form or method of electronic collection and storage of data is 100% secure, nor are we responsible or able for making sure this is the case. While we endeavour to use only publicly recognised means of electronic storage, we cannot guarantee it is 100% secure,

Changes

Your continued periodic use of this website, and our goods a service’s, before and after changes are made, constitutes your acknowledgement of and agreeing upon any and all of the modifications, as well as your consent to continue using your personal information.
Ayurmātā does not agree to be held accountable for updating you each time a change is made, furthermore you assume responsibility to stay updated to any and all changes made within this website. If we make any material changes to this policy, we agree to notify you through the email address originally provided by you, or by placing easily identifiable notices on our website.

Confidentiality
Any and all client information and clinical records will be protected by Ayurmātā and will remain confidential unless otherwise requested by the individual. Unless required to do so by the law, Ayurmātā agrees to not share, sell or distribute any of the information provided to us unless your consent is first gained.
Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client themselves, or a parent / guardian if the client is under the age of 18 years old.
In order to prevent the sharing (accidental or on purpose) of your information, Ayurmātā adopts specific security measures in the form of, but not limited to, passwords, face recognition and fingerprint access, to any and all client files.
We will retain all health information of a client for a standard 7 years, unless otherwise required to do so, or as long as the law requires.

Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy is effective as of June, 2023.

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the total cost of the booking. Failure to show up for the scheduled appointment without any notice to Ayurmātā will incur a charge of 100% of the cost of the booking. This is because we will not be able to cover your appointment slot within this time frame and are still required to cover our costs.

If you need to cancel your booking because of a medical condition that has been made known to Ayurmātā that is unpredictable in nature (for example, epilepsy), or because you are more than 35 weeks pregnant, a discussion with Ayurmātā will be had to determine what costs, if any, will be incurred.

Said cancellation fees will be made automatically by using the credit card details you provided as a guarantee when making the booking.

Late Arrivals
The client is entirely responsible for arriving to their appointment on time. We at Ayurmātā understand that sometimes things get in the way, and we will always endeavour to be as accommodating as possible, but should you be late, for whatever reason, please note that we may not be able to accommodate for lost time, and your scheduled booking may still finish at the same time, regardless of the cost of your booking or the time you arrive. On that note, full cost of the booking will be incurred regardless of how long the physical treatment went for under the notion that the client arrived late.

Making changes to your booking
If you need to make changes to your booking, please do so at your earliest convenience. Please respect our need to try and fill your spot should to have to reschedule, and allow us as much time as possible to do this.
