Retreat Catering

Creating meals for retreats allows me to drop in to my heart space and tap in to my true creative essence. Food is my way of expressing art, where my intuition, guided by my knowledge and understanding of Ayurvedic principles surrounding food, as well as Goddess Annapurna, puts me in a state of creative flow. I value using organic, whole food, seasonal ingredients that allow meals to compliment the essence and divinity of the retreat.

With over half a decade of experience in catering retreats, and more than a decade of experience working in kitchens all over the world, it is my deepest pleasure and honour to create specialised Ayurvedic meals on retreats, providing a wholesome and nurturing experience for you and your guests using the sister science of yoga to guide me in creating meals that are deeply healing and in tune with the body’s nutritional needs.
Food is served in a buffet / feast style manner in alignment with Ayurvedic principles surrounding eating intuitively in a way that nourishes your body, mind and soul, nothing more, nothing less.

Through catering many different genres of retreats, I have witnessed one consistency amongst them all - that meal time truly brings the guests together and creates a space for them to dive deep in to beautiful heart led conversation.
Whilst we believe, in Ayurveda, that meals should be consumed in silence, so that we can truly absorb the qualities of the food, we understand that on retreats there is often many healing and expansive connections that are made over a nourishing meal, meaning that the healing essence of the food, along with the the emotional component of connecting with another soul, work in symbiosis to create a healing experience. So, whilst some silence and reverence around meal time is encouraged, we adore the connections made through the dining experience, and understand that they can be equally as healing as the meal itself.

At the beginning of each retreat, and furthermore before each meal, I will introduce the ethics and principles around food and the ingredients used, provide a meal time prayer for your guests, and be available for any and all questions where I can share my wisdom and knowledge.

You can rest assured that when using Ayurmātā to cater your retreat, you can leave everything up to us. All that we ask, is that you provide us with a list of dietary requirements and your retreat schedule including meal times once the booking has been finalised.

Please note that all prices below are based around vegetarian / vegan menus. See further down the page for additonal add ons including seafood & meat options.
